Along the wild, pine-fringed coastline of Costa Brava, Abraham and Kathy said "I do" on a private stretch of sand, just the two of them, the waves, and the horizon. It felt fitting for a couple whose love has always been about quiet, shared moments rather than grand gestures, a love that began back in 2015 on a high school basketball court, where a shared coach and a few well-meaning mutual friends set their first date in motion.
From that gym to college graduation stages, Abraham and Kathy grew up together, building their relationship in the small, unspoken moments of showing up for each other.
So when they got engaged in Puerto Rico, it felt natural that their wedding would become the next adventure in a lifelong love of travel and discovery, and Spain, a country they'd dreamed of for years, was the obvious next chapter.
They exchanged vows barefoot on the sand with the sound of the waves as their soundtrack, then wandered through the dramatic, otherworldly landscapes of Marimurtra Botanic Garden for photos, its cliffside gardens and sweeping Mediterranean views serving as a fittingly beautiful backdrop for two best friends who still, after everything, love to joke around just as much as they did in that high school gym.
